All Victoria College students, alumni, and community members are invited to attend Family Fiesta Day on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The free Hispanic Heritage Month event includes an evening of fun and cultural celebration for all.
Family Fiesta Day will feature free food, live entertainment, yard and table games, and kid-friendly activities including temporary tattoos, coloring activities, piñatas, and bouncy house obstacle courses. Ballet Folklórico will perform at 5 p.m., followed by a mariachi band at 5:30 p.m.
“It has been so rewarding to watch VC’s Family Fiesta Day grow over the past four years,” said Babette Lowe, Dean of Academic Support & Student Success. “This event has become a wonderful way to bring Victoria College and the surrounding community together.”
Activities will be held inside the Student Success Center and outside on the adjoining courtyard of VC’s Main Campus at 2200 E. Red River St. Participants are encouraged to use Entrance 1 off Ben Jordan St. and use the first parking lot on the right.
