Grants Administration

The Grants Administration Office (GAO) is a College department under College Advancement that serves all College departments and personnel. GAO is the initial point of contact for vetting funding proposals to external sponsors. Internal grants to employees ("Faculty & Staff Grants") are applied for and administered separately through the Victoria College Foundation. Students interested in grants for their studies should visit our Financial Aid Grants page.

Grants Administration is responsible for

  • Identifying sponsors and funding opportunities that meet College needs;
  • Developing and submitting proposals to external sponsors;
  • Facilitating the contract negotiation process and liaising with sponsors; and
  • Maintaining procedures and offering training about grants and contracts.

Contact Sophia Kameitjo, Director of Grants Administration, with questions about proposal development, grant compliance/forms, project reports/amendments, and collaborations/partnerships.

Contact JJ Hernandez, Grants Specialist, to submit funding requests that inform what grants we look for.

Contact AlmaJane Musselman, Grants Specialist, with questions about active grant budgets, effort reporting, and inventory of grant-funded assets.
