• O*NET Online and the Occupational Outlook Handbook provide information about employment outlook, average wages, and education needed for various careers.
• On Campus Informational Sessions: Victoria College offers informational sessions throughout the year. Contact your program of interest to learn more about their upcoming program information sessions.
• Talk to People in the Field: Find people in the field you are interested in and ask them if they will meet with you to discuss their experiences. Informational interviewing can be a great way to network and learn more about the career options available. 
• Volunteer: Volunteering is a great resume builder and can expose you to various occupational settings.
• Job Shadowing: Check with local businesses or your VC’s Career Services Coordinator to find shadowing opportunities.
• Check out BestColleges or University HQ: These websites provide information and articles related to career options. 

Find a Job on Handshake: Handshake is a virtual job board utilized by VC that is customized for VC Students and Alumni.

Submit a flyer to be posted on the Career Corner board located in the Student Services building. Printed flyers may be submitted to the Advising & Counseling Office, suite 105 or emailed to VC’s Career Services Coordinator. Please refrain from posting your own flyers without staff approval.
