Log in to the Pirate Portal (Student Home Page > Student Dashboard > Student Schedule  > Choose Term).

Log in to the Pirate Portal (Student Home Page > Student Dashboard > View Books\materials for enrolled course > Select Term) to view and purchase books and supplies.

Parking is provided free to Victoria College students and visitors. Ample parking is available around campus. Please refer to the campus map to view parking lot and building locations.

State-issued parking permits are required to park in handicapped parking spaces. Student decals are not required. Refer to the traffic/parking section of the Student Handbook for more information. 

Classes will not be available in Canvas until the first day your class meets. View your class schedule for your class start date.

Log in to the Pirate Portal (Student Home Page > Student Tools: Canvas).

It pays to read the syllabus and assigned chapters before the first day of class.

To view and print your syllabus for each course, log in to the Pirate Portal (Student Home Page > Student Dashboard > Student Schedule > Active Registrations tab > course link > Syllabus link.)

Victoria College offers free learning assistance to all VC students. The Learning Lab offers a variety of methods to get connected to a learning assistant in both a virtual and face-to-face environment. 

Success Coaching is also available to students who would like strategic assistance with goal-setting, time management, study strategies, and other academic concerns.

It's important to check your student email at least once a week to make sure you don't miss important info.

To check your email, log in to the Pirate Portal (Student Home Page > Student Tools > O365 Student Email).

In emergencies or campus closures, VC's Emergency Alert System is used to communicate details via text, phone, email, and loudspeakers. To ensure you receive campus alerts, review and update your contact details and alert preferences in the Pirate Portal (Student Home Page > Student Resources > Emergency Alerts Opt In/Out) to change opt in/out status and Update Emergency Alert Information to change phone/email info.

Technology resources needed to complete courses remotely can be checked out from Technology Services on a first-come, first-served basis. Technology can also be purchased from the Campus Store's Technology Partners: Dell College Store and Lenovo Online Store.

Welcome Week Student Life Events

Students will be required to provide a student ID for Student Life events. Visit the Payments Office located in the Student Services Building (#8 on the Campus Map) to get your student ID. Bring a current state-issued picture identification card to request your VC student ID.
