Victoria College offers welding training, including a Basic Welding Certificate, an Advanced Welding Certificate, and two levels of Workforce & Continuing Education training.
Either certificate may be combined with core curriculum for transfer to a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Welders join molten metals together to produce products for construction and fabrication industries. VC’s training will prepare you to work as a technician in welding and metalworking industries. You may also work in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, sales, and quality control.
As a welder, you may perform manual welding or semiautomatic welding, where you will utilize machinery, such as a wire feeder, to perform welding tasks.
