Information about CLEP

• CLEP is a Credit by Exam program that covers a wide range of courses.
• CLEP study guides are available at the VC Campus Store and other area bookstores as well as the CLEP website.

How To Register:

1. Register and pay the $125.50 exam fee directly to CLEP.

• Before registering for a CLEP exam through the MyAccount feature, view available dates and register with the Testing Center to ensure exam appointment availability.
• You must be registered through CLEP at least 24 hours BEFORE your testing appointment.

2. Reserve your seat at the Testing Center

• $25 fee holds your seat (Non-Refundable Fee)
• Testing must occur within 60 days of the testing fee.
• Testing and registration fees are non-refundable.

• To register in person, visit the VC Payment Center located in the Student Success Center (Building #13 on VC's Campus Map). Cash, check, or money order accepted.

Review these guidelines before arriving at the Testing Center for a smooth testing experience.

• Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled exam.
• You must bring a valid physical photo ID (driver’s license, Victoria College student ID, passport, military ID, tribal ID, or state/national/province ID).
• No food, drinks, gum, cell phones, smartwatches, electronic devices, hats, sunglasses, purses, or backpacks are allowed in the testing room.
• All personal items must be left in your vehicle or stored in a designated Testing Center locker. This includes electronic devices, which must be powered off before being stored in the secure locker provided. The Testing Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Only students taking an exam are allowed inside the Testing Center. Children cannot be left unattended anywhere on campus (per the “Children on Campus” section in the Student Handbook).
• For VC exams, you are responsible for telling your instructor the date and time of your scheduled exam.
• To retake a VC exam, you must get your instructor’s approval and schedule a new appointment.
• Some non-VC exams may not be available during final exams or campus closures.
• Eligible students may request testing accommodations through Disability Support Services (not including GED, SAT, or ACT).
