ACT Test Information 

The ACT testing fee is $68 or $93 with writing. The fee is paid when you schedule for your exam through the testing company. There are no refunds for testing.

VC's Testing Center does not provide calculators for the ACT Exam or the ACT Residual. You may bring and use any ACT-approved calculator. Please see the ACT Calculator Policy for the most current information on the calculator policy.

Taken for qualified exemptions (please refer to the VC College Catalog for exemptions) from the Compass test and entrance into some competitive admissions programs. Visit the Advising & Counseling in the Student Services Building or the Testing Center in the Continuing Education Center for test registration information.

• The ACT Residual test will be announced throughout the semester.
• Pre-registration is required
• Exam Fee is $55 to be paid no later than the day before the exam
• Due to limitations, seating is and on a first-come first-served basis.
• Walk-ins are not accepted
• Payment can be completed in person at the Payment Office (Building #8 on VC's Campus Map) or online with a credit card through the DaySmart Appointments scheduling system.
• ACT Residual test scores are valid only at the Victoria College, and cannot be transferred to any other institution or agency.  No reports will be issued by the Victoria College or ACT to high schools, colleges, or scholarship agencies.

Note: You cannot take two ACT Residuals within 60 days of each other. Doing so will cancel the second attempt.
