Chart Your Course for Success
Victoria College Pirate Orientation is designed to assist students as they transition to college life by building a foundation for academic success, encouraging personal growth, and developing meaningful connections with the VC community.
New students are required to participate in an orientation session. Students will map out their preferred educational path, become familiar with resources that are key to their success, and learn about their responsibilities as a VC student. This will be done through both an interactive on-line session that is mandatory and various face to face sessions starting with academic advising and ending with a Pirate Orientation Support Services Showcase.
All new students should start with scheduling an appointment with an academic advisor to discuss their academic goals and sign-up to attend a Pirate Orientation session. If the student does not attend a Pirate Orientation session, a hold preventing future registrations will be added to the student account.
